Once considered to be another name for Babić, DNA testing has revealed that this black skinned variety is actually related to Plavac Mali and thus Tribidrag. It's a rare grape and there is not much of it around, although it is seeing increased attention as part of Croatia's ongoing culture and heritage projects to promote autochthonous varieties.
