Bergera-Pezzole is a small MGA located in the commune of Novello, near the southern boundary of the Barolo zone. Its soils are predominantly marl with layers of sandstone, and its elevation and exposure allow for a slower, more even ripening. Wines from this site tend to be finely textured and understated, with bright red fruit, fresh acidity, and a subtle, savoury edge typical of Novello’s more restrained style.
