Campasso

Campasso is a small MGA located in the commune of Barolo, just northeast of the village centre, with gentle slopes and predominantly clay-limestone soils. The site enjoys a warm, sheltered position that supports even ripening, resulting in wines that are soft, rounded, and accessible, with red fruit, floral notes, and moderate structure. While not often bottled as a single cru, Campasso contributes charm and approachability in blends, reflecting the elegant style typical of Barolo’s lower-lying vineyards.
