Cannubi San Lorenzo is a small, distinct MGA located on the central part of the Cannubi ridge in the commune of Barolo, flanked by Cannubi and Cannubi Boschis. Its soils are a balanced mix of marl and sand with moderate clay content, contributing to wines that are elegant, perfumed, and finely structured. Cannubi San Lorenzo shares much of the finesse and aromatic lift of the greater Cannubi area, producing Barolo that is graceful in youth but capable of developing complexity over time.
