Ciocchini-Loschetto is a little-known MGA in the commune of Barolo, combining two adjacent vineyard areas on gently sloping terrain with marl and clay-limestone soils. The site benefits from a warm exposure, yielding wines that are soft and expressive, with red fruit, floral lift, and supple tannins. Rarely seen as a single-vineyard bottling, Ciocchini-Loschetto contributes roundness and early accessibility in blends, reflecting the more delicate side of Barolo’s central zone.
