Collaretto

Collaretto is a small and obscure MGA in the commune of Novello, located on gently rolling terrain with marl-limestone soils typical of the area. Its moderate elevation and cooler exposure result in wines that are delicate and restrained, with light structure, fresh acidity, and subtle red fruit character. While rarely bottled on its own, Collaretto contributes aromatic lift and finesse when used in blends, reflecting the refined, quiet style of Novello’s lesser-known sites.
