Gattera

Gattera is a notable MGA in the commune of La Morra, located on gently sloping terrain with clay and marl-limestone soils and a warm, south to southwest exposure. The site is easily recognised for the large cedar tree that stands near the top of the vineyard, marking its identity. Gattera produces expressive, supple wines with red fruit, floral notes, and soft tannins, offering an accessible, elegant style that is characteristic of La Morra’s more open, aromatic Barolo.
