Gianetto is a small and lesser-known MGA in the commune of Serralunga d’Alba, set on moderately sloped terrain with compact clay-limestone soils and a generally warm exposure. The site produces structured, firm wines with dark fruit, earthy tones, and robust tannins, in keeping with Serralunga’s powerful, ageworthy style. Though rarely bottled on its own, Gianetto contributes depth and structure to blends and reflects the commune’s characteristic austerity and strength.
