Monrobiolo di Bussia is a small and well-situated MGA within the larger Bussia area, located in the commune of Monforte d’Alba. With compact clay-limestone soils and a favourable south to southeast exposure, the site produces structured, expressive wines with dark fruit, firm tannins, and notable depth. Often seen as a more elegant subzone of Bussia, Monrobiolo di Bussia yields Barolo that balances power with finesse and is capable of graceful ageing.
