Pfingstberg

Pfingstberg is a high-altitude, east to southeast-facing Grand Cru vineyard located above the village of Orschwihr, with a mosaic of marl, limestone, and sandstone soils. Its elevated position and well-drained terrain create a cooler mesoclimate that favours precise, ageworthy Riesling, Pinot Gris, and Gewurztraminer. Wines from Pfingstberg tend to be finely structured, with vibrant acidity, layered citrus or stone fruit, and a subtle mineral tension that unfolds over time.
