Rosacker

Rosacker is a Grand Cru vineyard located above the village of Hunawihr, with gentle, east-facing slopes and deep, calcareous marl-limestone soils that retain both moisture and heat. It is especially renowned for producing elegant, ageworthy Riesling, including the legendary Clos Sainte Hune monopole within its boundaries. Wines from Rosacker are typically poised and mineral, with firm acidity, floral and citrus aromatics, and a slow-developing complexity that rewards cellaring.
