Schlossberg is one of Alsace’s most iconic Grand Cru vineyards, located above the town of Kaysersberg, with steep, terraced slopes and light, granitic soils that warm quickly and drain well. As the first Alsace site to receive Grand Cru status in 1975, Schlossberg is especially known for its Riesling, which shows lifted aromatics, vibrant acidity, and pronounced mineral tension. The wines are structured and ageworthy, combining elegance and energy with a clear expression of the vineyard’s granitic character.
