Wiebelsberg is a steep, southeast-facing Grand Cru vineyard above the village of Andlau, characterised by light, sandy soils derived from pink sandstone. This well-drained, low-nutrient terroir is especially favourable to Riesling, which here produces finely structured, aromatic wines with pronounced acidity, citrus lift, and a distinctive mineral tension. Wiebelsberg wines are elegant and slow to evolve, often gaining depth and complexity over time without losing their precision or energy.
