Zoccolaio

Zoccolaio is a lesser-known MGA in the commune of Barolo, situated on moderately sloping hills with clay and marl-limestone soils and generally warm exposures. The site tends to produce approachable, medium-bodied Barolo with ripe red fruit, floral notes, and smooth, integrated tannins. Though rarely seen as a single-vineyard bottling, Zoccolaio contributes roundness and balance to blends, reflecting the accessible, harmonious style typical of the Barolo village zone.
