Zuncai is a little-known MGA in the commune of Novello, situated on gently sloping terrain with marl-limestone soils and relatively cool exposures. The site produces light to medium-bodied Barolo with fresh red fruit, floral notes, and soft tannins, reflecting the restrained and elegant style typical of Novello. Rarely seen as a single-vineyard bottling, Zuncai is more commonly used in blends, contributing finesse and aromatic lift.
